Mathematics: Word Problems
We have been working hard on solving and writing our own addition and subtraction word problems. Now it’s time to show your skills to an adult.
- Write a word problem in ANY language that has addition and subtraction. Go further by making sure it has multiple steps.
- Copy it onto your blog (make sure you have an answer sheet, know how to solve it)
- Give the adult your question and see if they can solve it themselves. Bring evidence to school of the adult working out your problem. It could be their ‘working out sheet’ a photo, a video or any other creative way to document what happened.Put it on your blog under your problem.
Remember this is exactly what we have done in class, but this time you have to choose an adult to be your student.
