From source to ocean

From source to the ocean

      By Hailey
You land on top of the mountain with dropping clear rain.
You are high and you are fresh water.
You are the source of the waterways.
Then you are rapids with speedy, bubbling white water.
You crash into each other and bump into the rocks.
You are white and foamy.
You go down and down, as fast as you can.
Then you get to the end of the land, it is a waterfall!’
You rush powerfully with the water and you are white!
Then you see a rainbow.
You slide down the rainbow ‘ahhhhhhh!’
then you crash to the rocks‘ boom, boom, splash!’

You go down, down and down, you split in half.
Then you join small streams of slow water
you are a tributary!
Then you go down slowly like a turtle and you are snaking.
You are going lazily and you are going slowly.
Then you go to an oxbow lake!
You are going around, weeeeeeeee!!!!’

Then you go to an estuary.
you are carrying sediment and mix with other rivers.

Finally you get to the delta
you are now part of the ocean!

You are crashing with waves and you are salty, white and noisy.
